   Here’s a GREAT lot for Stained Glass or other Art-Craft projects, featuring 10 (TEN) BRONZE GLASS TILES each with a PAIR of SLUMPED GLASS DOMES with a wonderful ORGANIC APPEARANCE. They are manufacturing by-products.That is, being pieces that were rejected for not meeting the required specifications or having other physical or technical issues that disqualified them from their intended purpose.  

   They are, however a unique offering, PERFECT for STAINED-LEADED-FOIL GLASS PROJECTS as well as for MOSAICS-SIGNAGE or other MULTI MEDIA CRAFTWORK. Great for  ACCENTS and INLAYS. They can be BACK PAINTED with glass colors or inlaid in ceramic LAMP BASES that could then be BACK LIT. They can be formed into the sides and tops of boxes and dresser jars. Only your own creativity and ingenuity can limit the ways these unique tiles might be used. 

   The tiles measure about 2” x 4” x 1/4”(6mm), the Domes are about 32mm in diameter. These pieces were not stamped or molded, they were placed on forms and slumped in a furnace. While being somewhat uniform in appearance, each one has it’s own individual hand-made character. 

   These tiles, though removed from production, have never been used for any other purpose, and as such they should be considered new. As mentioned above, they were deemed unusable to continue in the manufacturing process for their intended purpose. In this case, I believe the domes were out of spec (too high or too low). They have, however, been subject to post production handling, being jostled about and stored loosely in small boxes and bags with other similar glass parts. As such there may be minor physical flaws present (minuscule scratches, scuffs, tiny edge chips etc). So please be aware that these pieces are being sold AS IS - AS FOUND with no returns! 

   The condition is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with perhaps some small variations in measurements and symmetry that is generally valued in hand-made craft. 

   Some may have minuscule dings, tiny scuffs or even a small chip or two on the edges that would likely be hidden when mounted. All very minor. Any such issue that I would consider significant will certainly be mentioned. They are otherwise clean, bright, glossy and just looking for a creative artist to resurrect them!. 

   I do have a moderate, but limited quantity of these (and with some other dome sizes) as well as other forms of glass “by-products” in bronze and to a lesser extent, clear or “glass green”. 

   I’m just starting to part out these items and in the process of organizing. If they are successful, I’ll be listing more.
