Classic 1968 Boston Whaler 13'. Solid, sound, and looking good for its age. Powered by a 1985 50 hp Mercury outboard which has been professionally serviced yearly and had a thorough heavy maintenance service completed with multiple new parts within the last few years. Runs well and strong. Needs nothing, ready to go. I've owned the boat for over 10 years and used it various amounts every summer. The boat is covered and stored indoors during winter months. It has a galvanized Venture trailer (2011) which has been upgraded with radial tires for better/smoother hi-way towing. New leaf springs, axle, hubs over the last two years. Boat has a Bimini top (Sunbrella) and a storage cover, bilge pump, horn, oars, Boston Whaler seat cushions, 2 six-gallon fuel tanks, original navigation lights (led upgraded bulbs), cup holders, trailer guide-ons, fire extinguisher, and tie downs. I've towed this boat to explore places all around the Midwest and east coast and I'm a guy who doesn't like to be "stuck" on the water or on the side of the road so anything that ever was wearing or questionable was replaced as needed to avoid surprises on the road or in the water. I've noted that most people don't use the oar locks included on the classic 13' Whalers but I've found the oars quite useful for getting into shallow areas. The boat rows surprisingly easy with them, but of course, the oars are easily removable if desired. Interior:
The interior (blue) of the boat is the original, factory gel coat. No repairs or restoration. It is difficult to see in photos but there are some signs of wear/imperfections throughout the interior from 57 years of use including some thin spider cracking in the gel coat, wear of gel coat in corners where the gas cans rubbed, some shallow gouges around the rub rail, scuffs, and scrapes. All cosmetic things but if you are looking for a "like new" interior, you'd need to prep and paint to erase the signs of wear.

Exterior:
The hull (white) was painted at some point in its life and again about two years ago with Pettit marine paint smoothly applied via foam roller. Bottom paint was on the boat when I bought it from a guy who did dock it in the water over the summers, but it has been stored on a trailer for the 10+ years I have owned it. Bottom paint is ablative Interlux touched up as needed. The boat looks good, is solid, runs well, and should be an enjoyable boat for the next owner. It has been a great little boat in its travels with me but, I've got too many cars and boats at this time and need to start downsizing. Happy to answer questions, take additional photos/video, and the boat can be readily viewed in Avon Lake. Open to reasonable offers.
