1973 White International Dump Truck / Flatbed

The flatbed lifted perfectly fine when I parked it. It should still work fine as these Internationals are tough trucks. When I parked this truck around 8 years ago (2017), I was using this truck to do a lot of hauling.

When I parked this truck around 8 years ago (2017), I was using this truck to do a lot of hauling.  This truck will carry and pull anything.  It is an old truck and I can only speak for how well it was working when I stopped driving it 8 years ago.

The last time I cranked this truck was 4 years ago (2021) and it ran just fine.  I just tried to crank it today 03-03-2025, and it would only run long enough to burn out the ether that I sprayed directly in the carburetor.  I'm sure the gas in the tank is old and no good which may explain why the engine would only run long enough to burn off the ether in the carburetor.  If you are a mechanic or know a mechanic, you'll know exactly what to do to get this old baby running again.

The wipers work just fine

Over 20 years ago, the gears were changed out to a 4 speed.

I did install a battery Disconnect switch/terminal on it years ago. It appears to be working fine.

For those of us who remember these old engines, when you turn off the truck, it would make a very loud backfiring sound when you switch it off.  So I would always choke it off with the clutch which would always avoid that from happening.

To the best of my knowledge, this engine is the original motor that came with this truck.  The motor has never been changed as far as I know.

In Summary:  Because this truck has been sitting for years, you will need to be a bit of a mechanic or know one to get this truck going again.  I suggest purchasing new tires as these tires are at least 25 years old.  The belts, pipes and hoses should be changed out as I'm sure they are fragile from sitting.  I have no problems answering any question you may have concerning this truck.

I'm selling this truck "As Is."  It's a
