This bike is being relisted, because of a non paying bidder. It ended on Sept.6, and I am just now able to relist. Rules don't apply to
(peter van der doe,
pukmans2013). He had good feedback, but since buyers can only receive positive marks it meant nothing. I advise adding his name to your blocked bidder list. The email address and phone number on record with ebay were both fictitious.
Original paint 79 Super Glide. Parked since 2017. Runs, shifts, stops. Paint is pretty decent except the typical attempt to hide the fact the bike was an AMF product. Everything works except for the turn signals which are only mounted. I might have time to connect them prior to auctions end.
Like I stated the bike has been dormant for 8 years, and needs to be gone through.
From 1970 to 1980 the VIN number could be found on both the frame and
the engine and would match exactly with the exception of a few months
in 1979 which was due to an idea by the factory to make them different.
The idea was quickly killed after law enforcement notified
Harley-Davidson that it made the bikes look stolen. The production date
range was from 1/9/1979 to 2/7/1979. The VIN numbers affected are
43000H9 through 48199H9. The engine numbers where 10 digit numerical IDs.
Ebay Caramel is not accepted for payment. Check, Venmo, Zelle, wire transfer, and cash at pick up are accepted forms of payment.
