1981 Alvis FV103 Spartan CVRT armored “combat vehicle reconnaissance tracked” collector’s item, conversation piece, home protection or just plain good old fun!
Good used condition, not restored.
Cummins 6BT diesel starts right up and runs real good. Stops, turns, shifts fine, 6 speed semi-automatic trans. Tracks are about 50% or just under. Good road wheels and sprockets. Lights seem to all work.
Aluminum armor makes it quite light at about 17k lbs. well under 9’ tall fits in many garages.Takes up the space of a full size pickup truck. Seats 3 crew members plus room for 4!
No gun in turret, special radio equipment or smoke granade launchers, no warranty.
Spare road wheel and 4’ of new spare track. Some extra parts and manual/books. Has very cool little Bluetooth military vehicle speaker that works.
