A rare circa 1880 gilt brass, highly decorative ladies Chatelaine
with several sewing and other attachments
The gilt brass Chatelaine is decorated in the Baroque/Rococo style
with classical, medieval, mythology and legends,
and religious and botanical motif.
Attachments: 1. Unusual working latched Scissors ( with some oxidation)
(surface rust can easily be removed)
2. Chesterman's patent #3 measuring tape
(the tape is broken, can be repaired)
3. Shell shape pin cushion holder
4. Pen knife with working blade
5. Pencil holder, needs graphite (minor dents)
6. Note pad with inserts
7. Egg shape working Thimble Holder
