Ten of the original Ford GT40 Mk IV cars were built in
period and this Mk IV is chassis number J-9.
The J-9 chassis did not race at LeMans in June of 1967 but was completed later in August of 1967.
Ironically, when Kar Kraft in Michigan completed the car, it was a Group 7 Can-Am car designated G7A.
Years later Cobra Automotive in Connecticut carried out the conversion back to the Mk IV bodywork.
This Ford Mk IV, chassis J-9, is a very historic and extremely powerful variation of the original GT40.
This new-in-package white #9 Ford Mk IV HO slot car comes sealed in it's original clamshell packaging.
