About CFS

• 16 COLORS TO ENHANCE YOUR CREATIVITY: The Creality Filament System (CFS) has a connection hub on the back. By connecting up to four CFS units together, you can print brilliantly in 16 colors, saving the need for additional painting later

• SNAPSHOT SUPPORT IS ENABLED: the CFS is able to provide model support in different materials. It can be easily broken and is even water-soluble. The generated 3D model will not show any support markings

• AUTOMATIC FILAMENT MAPPING: The CFS is programmed to communicate seamlessly using Creality 3D printers and Creality Print slicers. It can select from installed filaments based on type and color. As indicated in the G-code file

• AUTOMATIC FILAMENT SWITCHING AND RELAYS: The CFS is able to switch filaments smoothly and accurately for multi-color tasks. NOTE: Not compatible with flexible TPU, wet BVOH/PVA or warped cardboard filament spools

• AUTOMATIC RUNOUT/TANGLE DETECTION: Sensors are used to monitor each filament reel. It will pause and notify you immediately when the filament runs out or tangles

• MOISTURE RESISTANT FILAMENT STORAGE: The airtight design of the CFS keeps the filament from absorbing moisture from the air. With the help of a desiccant, the filament will remain dry from start to finish. Clear display of temperature and humidity, it will give you a timely alert if the humidity level is too high

• CARDBOARD SPOOL COMPATIBILITY: CFS for K2 PLUS 3D Printer is not picky about consumables, it is compatible with Tristar Hyper series, especially Hyper RFID consumables, which can be quickly and automatically recognized

Tips:

* Please update the firmware (Creality OS) with the included USB drive upon the upgrade. For subsequent updates, you can use the OTA function.

* While using CFS, the print size of K1, K1C and K1 SE changes to 220 × 215 × 250 mm, and the print size for K1 Max changes to 300 × 295 × 300 mm. The print size stays unchanged if you use the stock spool holder.

Note: When upgrading to multicolor printing, the USB port remains functional but will be occupied during the process. Additionally, the PTFE tube must be fed into the printer vertically, which prevents the top cover from fully closing. Improper alignment may lead to tube friction or feeding issues.
