Here's a large, beautifully-engineered 60 amp current indicator manufactured in the late 1800's by General Electric Thomson-Houston. The meter is mounted on its original slate base and is housed in its original glass-front case.

Condition is excellent, with normal signs of wear consistent with age and authenticity. The brass parts have engine-turned surfaces, and as you can see in the photographs, these surfaces are pristine, almost flawless. Meter arm swings freely.
In its housing, the meter measures approximately 10" x 9" x 6".

Offered for historical/collecting purposes only, with no other assurances state or implied.

Please look at the pictures and consider them an integral part of the description.

Shipping weight approximately 24 lb.

I'm one of ebay's best known, most highly regarded sellers of technical collectibles and technical antiques. I've been selling and shipping them for more than 25 years. When you purchase an item from me, you can rest assured that your purchase will arrive safely because it's been carefully packed (by me, not by some well-intentioned but nonetheless confounded, doe-eyed teenager working at the UPS store who wouldn't know a phonograph from a farm tool), Sure, you can probably get a lower price from Joe and Janet Barn-Find, but when your "bargain" arrives broken, and without any hint of how you might be able to put it back together, you'll realize that you really do get exactly what you pay for.
