In Melissa Fitzgerald and Mary McCormack's wonderful book: What's Next: A Backstage Pass to The West Wing, Its Cast and Crew, and Its Enduring Legacy of Service, Richard Schiff recounted the start of our Spaldeen adventure in late 2016. When the book was released, we had 200 Spaldeens that Richard was about to sign, and we sold out before they were signed and sent to the ACLU SoCal office.
I just sent Richard 400 more Spaldeens. He may sign them as early as next week, but they will need to be shipped back to our office and then to winners.
On a personal note, I am donating a kidney to my husband on 11/26. I will be slow to respond to emails for a few weeks,
