Description 1st part collection:
Special collection of 19 works, mainly title pages, texts & woodcuts, printed by Froben and Petri in Basel, 16th century. Most leaves are behind a passe-partout, fixed at a single point, easy to remove. The whole is loosely wrapped in protective foil. In good and neat condition, otherwise stated.

Sebastian Münster: Cosmographiae Universal - 8 sheets with (some beautiful old-colored) woodcuts including: a double-page map of Bern, one full-page map of a valley, gold and silver processing, flora, harvesting activities, mining, etc...
Basel, Heinrich Petri, 1528-1579 - from German editions, 32 x 22 cm and 30 x 21 cm.
In fair condition. One page somewhat frayed, slightly spotty, one tear in the margin. Otherwise very acceptable.
