What is an INRO?

INRO is a small container for carrying medicine in the 15th to 16th centuries in Japanese history.

From around 1850, the technology improved and it developed as a work of art.

It is a traditional art piece that Japan is proud of.

The inro features expressive figures on both sides.

The netsuke is extremely beautiful and intricately carved.
