The Sigmarion III, launched as the latest in the Sigmarion series in 2000, is a high-performance mini-PC that supports a variety of wireless systems including Personal Handyphone System (PHS), 2G (PDC), 3G, and mobile packet data communications. Powered by an Intel PXA255 400 MHz processor and running on CE .NET, it features a 5.0-inch semi-transparent TFT display with W-VGA 800 x 480 resolution. It includes the Picsel Browser for easy web navigation, Microsoft applications like Word and Excel, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for a notebook-like web experience. With dual SD card and Compact Flash slots, a customizable desktop, and bundled media tools, the Sigmarion III offers versatility for both work and entertainment.

MUI Interface Pack for English Language

The Sigmarion III can be switched from Japanese to English with the NTT DoCoMo Sigmarion III MUI Interface Pack, available from HPC Factor (see picture). This Multi-language User Interface (MUI) enhancement pack for Windows CE 4.1 regenerates the device's UI into English without replacing ROM components. The update includes changes to the Windows CE shell, system dialogues, icons, and mass storage names, along with adjustments to the desktop, internet settings, and removal of the Japanese IME. This solution is designed for tech-savvy users who wish to customize their device's language settings.
