This is an opportunity to own a truly rare piece of history minted in 55 AD. This is the only known coin of Nero to be struck during his reign in the Biblical city of Pergamum. RPC cites four examples of this coin and only two are in private collections. This would make three. This is a genuine coin of Nero with Agrippina II(his mother who was also the great granddaughter of Augustus, daughter of Germanicus, and fourth wife of Claudius), struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see pictured. Nero is mentioned in the Bible(though not by name, just as Caesar) in Acts 25:10-12. The obverse of this coin features facing portraits of Nero and Agrippina the Younger and legend. The reverse features a temple of Augustus(statue of Augustus) and legend. Pergamum was a city mentioned in Revelation holding one of the seven churches that the apostle John wrote to.This is a chance to own a coin that is guaranteed authentic. Grading is subjective.
