GTS has been in the armor business for 18 years.

No other armor plates on eBay are tested against so many calibers.  Our plates are comprehensively tested throughout a range of calibers and are super light - just 5 pounds.

The NEW NIJ 0101.07 standard is now active.  We have tested against every 0101.07 RF2 threat (see test reports in the product images). Make sure your seller can show you test reports resisting the 7.62x51mm M80, M193, M855 and 7.62x39mm MSC.  If they cannot - the plate is NOT an RF2 plate meeting the NIJ's latest standard: 0101.07.

BEWARE of dangerous behavior by online body armor sellers advertising super light plates without NIJ test reports!!! True RF1 plates requires a min of THREE passing shots (44mm or below BFD) of 7.62 x 51mm M80, M193, AND 7.62 x 39mm MSC!  RF2 requires the same passing reports, PLUS the M855.  Unless they have professional lab reports showing these passing calibers, you are taking an unnecessary chance!

Latest ballistics test included (6) shots against the powerful 7.62mm x 51mm M80 projectile. This test included DROP testing and submerged water testing (see test report for details). 

Some eBay sellers claim that their plates are NIJ Level III certified because of passing an Ak-47 MSC ballistics test OR M855 test (5.56). Remember that the new RF2 category (0101.07) REQUIRES resistance against the 7.62mm x 51mm (M80) and other threats. If your ebay seller is not testing all of the RF2 threats - and can prove it... he is not complying with the new 0101.07 standard.  The new standard requires resistance against the following threats:

This armor plate has been tested in accordance with NIJ 0101.06 AND NIJ 0101.07 standards. Unlike other sellers, we have tested our ceramic against every RF2 threat detailed under the new NIJ 0101.07 standard.  

NIJ 0101.07 Section 12 allows the armor participant to choose the number of shots per panel. We chose to show our ceramic defeating 6 rounds of 7.62 x 51mm - PLUS resistance against every other RF2 threat identified in 0101.07.

The OA+ line meets both NIJ 0101.06 and NIJ 0101.07 standards for the challenging RF2 category (special threat).  For more information, please refer to our testing reports.  The plates will be supplied with appropriate ballistic tags.

Plates can be used as front or rear plates. Make sure that the STRIKE FACE (see ballistic tag) is situated toward the threat and the plate(s) is carried in a quality vest or carrier.

Superior mosaic ceramic configuration (as opposed to monolithic) allows for multi-hits without performance deterioration of surrounding ceramics.
