Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing. These paints can be used on styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and can be blended easily. Prior to curing, paint can be washed away with plain water.
When airbrushing make sure to use any of the following Tamiya thinners: 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077.
X designated colors have a glossy finish while XF designated colors are flat finish.
The paint can be thinned for airbrushing using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner.

Order is shipped same day or 1 business day. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays.

Changing shipping address must be done before 9AM Central Time. We do not guarantee your changing request always accepted, so again, double check your mailing address.
Save on shipping
Items that are paid for on the same order do qualify for combined shipping. Shipping rates are based on the total weight and size of the package, and you can choose from any of the shipping options available.
Orders that shipped to PO Boxes, APO and military address, and outside of the Continental US will be switched to Parcel Post if UPS is selected. We reserve the right to modify or change the shipping method selected for an order.
Local Pickup
If you're in the Houston Texas, we offer local pickup. Upon checking out, select the 'Pickup' option and you will receive instructions on how the pickup procedure works.
For paint and other hazardous liquid product, it must be shipped ground. You may see the shipping cost is higher and the waiting time is longer than usual a little bit.

Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
