The ZX II Protector is the ultimate lens protection filter that has evolved from the Floating Frame System to achieve even higher resolution.

Not only the frame system, but also the coating has been renewed. The newly developed “ZR01 (Zero One) Coating” achieves a surface reflectance of 0.1%.

Nothing is added to the image quality of the photograph, and the depiction is as it is. In other words, the ZXII Protector is like an air filter that lets in light as it is.

■Floating Frame System for Super High Resolution

The “Floating Frame” has been further evolved to bring out the full descriptive power of the lens by reducing the load on the glass to as close to zero as possible.

The floating frame system has been further evolved by minimizing distortion of the glass and further polishing with high precision to achieve a flatness and ultra-high resolution surpassing that of conventional models.

The newly developed ZR01 coating with ultra-low reflection and high transmittance optical glass achieves a surface reflection ratio of 0.1%.

The ZX II protector's lens coating employs the newly developed ZR01 Coating. It realizes ultra-low reflection of 0.1%.

This coating suppresses flare and ghosting that can easily occur in night scenes and other situations where a filter is attached, and maximizes performance while protecting the lens.

The powerful water and oil repellent coating provides peace of mind even when shooting outdoor scenes. Even if water or dirt gets on the lens, you can quickly wipe it off and continue shooting.

The filter is easy to put on and take off thanks to the “dry-lubricated” treatment that reduces the chance of the filter biting into the lens when installing and the knurled finish that improves finger catching when putting on and taking off the filter.
